Refund policy
At UMI NAUTIC, operated by our US-based LLC, our commitment is to your absolute satisfaction and the enduring quality of our symbols. As an international brand shipping worldwide, we ensure your rights under the following conditions.
1. CONDITIONS FOR RETURNS & REFUNDS Regarding manufacturing defects, all pieces are covered under our Lifetime Warranty. For shipping errors, you have up to 7 calendar days after delivery to notify us if the product received does not match your order. In all cases, the product must be unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
2. EXCHANGES AND STORE CREDIT If you wish to exchange a full-priced item for a different model or size, requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. The item must be unworn and in its original packaging. For promotional items, bundles, or kits marked as Final Sale, we do not offer cash refunds; however, at our discretion, we may provide an exchange or Store Credit for future use at UMI NAUTIC.
3. EXCHANGE & REFUND PROCEDURE To initiate a request, contact our Global Support Team at contact@uminautic.com. Once your request is evaluated and approved, the refund or exchange will be processed. Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method used during purchase within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
4. SHIPPING & CUSTOMS UMI NAUTIC covers all additional shipping expenses if the product is confirmed to have a manufacturing defect or was sent incorrectly. For exchanges based on personal preference regarding size, color, or model, the customer is responsible for all return and reshipping costs. For international orders, any customs duties, taxes, or import fees are the sole responsibility of the customer.
5. NON-ELIGIBLE CASES A refund is not applicable if the product matches the specifications, materials, and quality presented on our website. We are not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, local postal strikes, or international logistics. Furthermore, no refunds will be issued for incorrect addresses provided by the customer, packages not collected at local post offices, or failed delivery attempts.
6. LIFETIME WARRANTY UMI NAUTIC offers a Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects on all original purchases. This warranty covers hardware failure such as breakage of toggles, shackles, or closures, and assembly defects such as structural failure of the cord due to a manufacturing fault. To activate a warranty claim, the original purchaser must contact us at contact@uminautic.com with photographic evidence of the defect. Warranty requests are exclusively accepted from the original buyer, verified through the email address used at the time of purchase on uminautic.com. Valid proof of original purchase is required. All requests are subject to individual evaluation and approval by UMI NAUTIC, and we will respond within 5 business days. Upon approval, UMI NAUTIC will determine and provide the appropriate resolution. This warranty is limited to one request per product per customer and is non-transferable. It does not cover natural wear and tear, color fading through normal use, accidental damage, loss of the product or its components, damage caused by exposure to chemicals or improper storage, or any piece that has been altered, repaired, or modified by a third party. Any unauthorized modification automatically voids this warranty. UMI NAUTIC reserves the right to assess each request individually and to decline those that do not meet the conditions described above.
